The Nirvana Black Oil finish has held up pretty well though. The strap buttons have been moved several times as pictured And replaced with strap locks as pictured. There is some wear almost down to the Swamp Ash Body buy the neck pickup. This all came from years of gigging.The electronics are all original and work and sound great. This bass has some tone!The Ovangkol neck is very comfortable and straight. You can see up by the headstock area that the layers of Laminate were re glued. We can only guess that it may have been dried out at one point but is all good now. The Brass frets and fingerboard are in great shape with almost no wear (Believe it or not!). You can fly up and down this neck with ease and every note rings loud and clear.3 of the tuners have been changed on this bass at some point also.This Corvette Standard shows its wear but once you play it you can see why it has been used so much!
