Description: 2008 Jimmie Johnson #48 Lowe's Kobalt Homestead-Miami Raced Version Custom 1:24 This is a raced version custom of Jimmie's 2008 Homestead-Miami race car that he raced after when he clinched his 3rd consecutive NASCAR Cup Series championship. Carl Edwards won the race but Johnson won the title after finishing 15th place. I made this custom and has lots of details to point out. Please note that this is not a 100% exact replica of that race car and that it is not a perfect car either. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS BEFORE BUYING. MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. -Suspension has been adjusted to give a more realistic rise height. Front and rear have been done. -Tires have new Goodyear letter over the original. -Aero, corner letters, set numbers, tape have all been added to the wheels. -Both wheels and tires have been clear coated with flat clear to resemble a "worn" look. -Front lower grille decal has been added with flourescent "peel off" decals added just like the actual race car. -Contingency decals on the front have all been upgraded to the correct size over the original car. Goodyear Gatorback, Moog, Mahle, Comp Cams, Edelbrock, Wix, Sunoco, and Raybestos have all been upgraded. -Hood pin tapes added. -Front windshield sun strip added -"NASCAR Race Car 60 Years" added to A-post, which the original car had missing. -NACA ducts added to left rear window. -Jack point arrows added to side of the car -Track bar flourescent markers added to read window. -Side passenger window pin decals added, plus NACA duct as well. -Debris has been added around the edge of the wheel wells, including "exhaust" markings from the book tube on the body, and debris also sprayed on the nose.
