These fresh Poppy seeds are pre-stratified and ready to plant. Growing Instructions:Plant poppy seeds in fall or late spring / early summer after the last frost. Most poppies require a period of stratification - these seeds have already been stratified.Soak seeds in water for 12-24 hours. Select a sunny spot with well draining, sandy type soil.Scatter seeds and very gently rake to distribute. Cover with no more than 1/16" of soil.Mist the soil whenever it appears dry. Germination occurs in 7-20 days.Reduce frequency of irrigation once poppies reach 2-3” high as they do not like damp growing conditions.Do not plant in really hot weather.
