Description: Description This is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side. It is made of walnut and is painted. The recessed center section was backed with a mirror (missing). Originally there was a marble top vanity, 3 piece marble backsplash and porcelain sink below, all this is missing. There is a small cabinet at the bottom faced with 2 doors, one has a break but everything is there. To either side are the closet areas each faced with an ornate door. Each door has a beveled mirror in the middle with ornate raised panels above and below. There was a drawer below each door, both missing. The 6 legs are fluted with carved flowers and are topped with carved corbels. The pediments at the ends have dentil moldings, raised panels and carved crowns with finials above. The central pediment has carved brackets, carved panels and a crown with carved flowers. Magnificent piece. It measures 129 inches wide overall by 106 inches tall and 19.75 deep. It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck. This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or outside sides. Overall it is in fair condition. The home it came from was abandoned for over 30 years, had a leaky roof and at the end partially collapsed. The paint is peeling and chippy with bare wood in many places. There is water damage along the bottom and several pieces of molding disintegrated. 2-3 inches will need to be removed from the bottom and some of the base moldings replaced. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are some light cracks and chips. The bones are solid and sturdy but it will need to be restored. Please look at the pictures carefully. Ref: 52218 Shipping We have a 16 foot box truck for salvage jobs and delivery trips. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. Outside these areas it would be best to check uship.com for delivery quotes. Payment Payment should be made within 5 business days unless you make other arrangements in advance. Terms of Sale I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle
