Description: Here is an antique milk glass shade with dutch motif in good condition. I purchased it on the lamp shown but I am certain that the two items are not original to each other so I am selling both separately. This auction is for the shade only. I have shown it on a boudoir style lamp, but it could, with the proper hardware, be used on a pendant style fixture as well. This shade is 9 1/2" wide at its widest point, and is 3 11/16" tall. The fitter is just strong of 2 3/8" and would need hardware of 2 1/2" diameter to be installed properly. It is six sided with three different alternating scenes of dutch children. The glass is delicately made. It has a fire polished lower edge that is devoid chips or flea bites. The fitter lip does have a chip that would not show under normal use. Two of the scenes have small scuffs that are not to offensive. Overall, this shade has very little wear. Pay close attention to fitter size. This shade will not fit UNO fitter hardware. It is likely a European shade and will need European hardware or American hardware that has been adapted. Look the photos over carefully and don't hesitate to email with questions.
