Antique Velvet Victorian Photo Album CDVs Tin Types

Description: Overall the album is in fair condition, unlike the other one I have listed, which is in very good to excellent condition. This album is full of images, containing an assortment of types, including men, women, young and older children, and babies. The front pages have 19 carte d’ viste photographs. The back pages contains 5 tin types, of which 2 could be daguerreotypes (see the oval images). (There are 26 images in all) The clasp is no longer working, as half has been broken off. There are several tears on the pages, I see one has tape on it; and, the cardboard pages have been separated from the binder in the spine. The green velvet fabric, on the front and back cover, is very worn a bit loose, and smells old or musty. The album measures 10-1/4” x 8” x approximately 2-1/4” thick. All photographs are considered to be an equal part of the item’s description, so please view them carefully. All items come from a smoke and pet free home. I try to use as much recycled product in my packaging, aiming for sustainability, rather than fancy presentation, so it might be funky, but it’ll be safely and sustainably packaged!
