Description: Add some spooky charm to your dollhouse with this lot of 13 miniature Halloween decorations. The set includes a variety of Halloween items plus the BLACK METAL BAKERS RACK is part of this sale. So even after the Halloween season has passed, you have this gently used baker’s rack to use somewhere else. Each Halloween piece was carefully crafted, some with intricate details. High quality materials have been used including corn husks, colored beads, straw, metal to name a few. As you can see in the photographs the decorations come in a range of colors including black, orange, and white, and can be placed wherever you’d like in your dollhouse, room box or could spark you to start a Halloween themed room box or collection of your own. These are a variety of original artist-made pieces mostly from approximately 1985. This Halloween lot is perfect for collectors and dollhouse enthusiasts alike. I photographed the Halloween pieces into small groups that will hopefully help you to see each piece. Photo #1, Left to right: Large jack-o-lantern with a happy face. Looks like his lid may be glued on or museum wax was used to keep his lid on. Pumpkin with stem still attached is a very soft pumpkin. It was carefully made from crepe paper and scribed to resemble the lines in a real pumpkin. His stem is made from roping. Ceramic “Troll House Cookies” cookie jar. The black lid comes off. Museum wax holds it in place. China pumpkin, lid comes off, a beautiful piece that can also be used for Thanksgiving. Photo #2 and #3 #4 #5 left to right: Orange and black candy in a clear pedestal dish with a plastic jack-o-lantern that is very sturdily attached to the back of the dish. This metal plate is painted orange and black and holds several Halloween themed hand made cookies. There are ghosts in different poses, a green skinned witch with black hat, tan hair and quite a nose!! Hm, orange and white pin wheel cookies and orange jack-o-lanterns, this is fascinating!! Indian Corn with a pretty bow to hang on your door that can stay thru Thanksgiving! Different colored beads were used to create this beautiful piece!! Real corn husks were used for the top. This was bought a long time ago but still amazes me! Photo 3 is the back, signs of museum wax. Photo #6 #7 left to right: Trick or treat bag, most things are glued in but I think I see a “Cracker Jacks” box which was popular when I was a child. There was a “prize” in every box! 2 lolly pops that are not glued in. You can actually see a ghost on the yellow lolly and the orange lolly has the face carved into a typical jack-o-lantern! Photo #5 shows a close up of them. White ghost is glued to a very stiff black spider web so that ghost is stuck! Not sure what the ghost is made of but someone took the time to give him a face with red lips as well as “carved” out its white flowing fabric. Whatever it’s made of, it’s very hard to the touch. An orange broom for any witch. Made of a sturdy wooden stick and real broom pieces. Photos #8, #9, #10,#11 and #12 Witch, ghost and scare crow. The black witch and tan female scare crow are both made from corn husks. Both have faces drawn on and appear to be happy! The scare crow has a pumpkin for its head and green sprouting to depict where it was freshly picked from the pumpkin patch. The ghost is made from pipe cleaners, with white cotton pants and shirt. Its feet and hands are clean white. His large head is neatly stuffed and his face is made from felt. He has an orange pumpkin shirt too or possibly a bib? As you can see in photos #9, all 3 can hang if wanted. Photos #10-#12 all 3 are about 2” tall Please remember the BLACK METAL BAKERS RACK is part of this sale and is also in good condition. It could probably use a new coat of paint on its shelf. Other than that it stood for many many years in its kitchen with copper pots and utensils hanging from its hooks. I know I wrote a lot but along with the photos I hope I answered questions. If not contact me and I’ll try to answer them. Thanks for looking!
