Description: Fosi Audio Phono Box X2 phono preamp with two 6A2 tubes. Like new in perfect working condition and mint cosmetic condition. I bought this because my receiver didn’t have a working phono input, and my records sounded fantastic using it. I’ve since upgraded to a receiver with a phono input and I’m happy with its sound, so I’m letting someone else enjoy this little guy. In addition to connecting a turntable, you can connect any device to the front Aux input, allowing you to introduce tubes into your sound path. This makes the sound a little “warmer” and takes off some of the digital edge you might hear from digital sources. It’s not a huge difference like some of the bigger full blown tube preamps might make, but I found it very nice. Very low hours of use on this device - I only used it with my turntable, and I really don’t listen to records very often. I’ve owned it for about 6 months and maybe used it a dozen times, so there should be plenty of life left in the tubes.
