Description: This Ghostbusters Ghost Trap Replica is based on the Ghost Trap configuration from Ghostbusters II (1989). The trap is non-functrional, the doors do not open and cannot be modified to do so. However, the trap can be disassembled and basic electronics (lights and sounds) can be added. The trap vessel is bolted in using 4 phillips head screws located on the bottom. The battery pack on the back of the trap body can be removed to stow wiring and batteries. Most of the parts used on this trap are metal or resin cast for accuracy. The trap pedal is not mobile and is strictly built for looks but, it can always be modified to accommodate electronics or more mobility. The vhook located on the bottom was purchased from CPU64 (can be found on GBFans.com). The wheels are bearings, the trap will roll and looks great with the pedal hose attached. It is great for carrying around on your belt at conventions,on Halloween or sitting amongst your prop collection and is perfect for photo ops. The trap body is cast resin and was originally made by NIckatron who is no longer in the business. The item is priced according to feature and functionality and the quality of the base kit used.
