Description: ________________________________________________________________________ Huge Black Industrial Gents of Leicester Wall Clock A huge and imposing industrial clock made in England by Gents of Leicester. c.1940 Salvaged from boat yard in the north of England, the decision was made to strip and repaint the clock casing back to black due to an unsightly build up of lichen from being exposed to salt-water over the past 80+ years. Otherwise, totally original including the tapered hands and high powered 240v mechanism which has benefitted from a complete overhaul and now keeps perfect time - and is a little work of art in itself!
