This is a thick walled jar hand crafted and painted in the traditional methods of coiled pottery with geometric designs. It is in reddish brown, tanned black. It is hand signed in pencil on the bottom, the signature does not show well in photos. The artist is Martha Toya, Jemez pueblo. It is an old pot of vintage age. Approximate measurements: 5.675" tall, 4" largest diameter.
