With the V-ONE R4 Evo.2 as its base, the Evo.3 incorporates a range of components from the Evo.3 chassis conversion kit that was released in 2023. Main chassis features a modernized front bulkhead and stabilizer design, as well as center-fixed engine mounting that optimizes chassis flex and eliminates the quirks in steering characteristics through cornering. Modifications to the receiver and battery mounting tray improves chassis roll characteristics and simplifies battery replacement. However, one of the more intriguing aspects of the V-ONE R4 Evo.3 is that the kit is packaged for use with both sponge and rubber tires. The kit includes a clutch suitable for the OS-12TG engine with clutch springs optimal for rubber tires designated for the Kyosho CUP as well as clutch springs for sponge tires to compete in open races. In addition, front side pulleys and shock springs are included for both rubber and sponge tires.
