Description: *NO SHIPPING TO CHINA, DO NOT BID as you will be Unable to Pay** Original Early 1940s Rayon & Cotton Thread Weave SATIN DAMASK DRAPES or Fabric, INCREDIBLE "Old Hollywood Boudoir" or Regency Decor OSTRICH FEATHER PLUME AND BOW PATTERN. Two Panels, first measures 43" wide, 76" long. There is an edge that has been turned in along each side which measures approx. 1 1/8". Originally these were rod pocket panels, she added pleat tape inside the top edges of both. There is a 7" hem at the bottom. The 2nd Panel has a raw edge at the hem, she never finished this one. It measures 43" wide, 88" long. The pattern repeats vertically is 12". Has the same turned in edge down the sides, only she didn't finish this about half way down. These are in Outstanding Condition with NO Fade or tears/holes, there is some yellowing to the ivory coloration in the weave that is minor, and you'll find some faint yellowed stains intermittently from decades of storage (I have opted to not launder these as it alters the texture of this fabric, they should be dry-cleaned ideally).
