People from all over the world collect these unique gaming tokens. There is also an official club where people buy, sell and trade Silver Strikes. The first Silver Strikes were won from special slot machines in the Reno/Tahoe area of Nevada in 1992. The tokens have been issued with redeemable values of $2, $3, $7, $10, $20, $28, $40, $200 and $300. The most common denomination is $10. Some Palms History:The Palms Casino Resort is located at 4321 Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, Nevada which is near the famous Las Vegas Strip. The Palms project was first developed by the Maloof family. (Owners of the Sacramento Kings, NBA - from 1998 to 2013, Houston Rockets, NBA from 1979-1982, and currently a minority owner in the Vegas Golden Knights, NHL.) The Palms opened on November 15, 2001.
