Description: This is the first issue of Scrye Magazine from 1994, signed by cover artist Ed Beard Jr. Scrye was the first published price guide that shop owners and collectors could use as a basis for pricing (at the time, a mint condition alpha black lotus is listed as $25). The magazine was devoted to Magic and TSR's Spellfire, with several articles written inside along with ads for hobby shops that sold the games. Condition wise, i would rate this an 8 out of 10, with the only blemish being a ding on the spine near the bottom left corner barcode. (See picture). Other than that, it looks almost brand new instead of being 26+ years old. The cover artist signed the inside with a silver sharpie (see picticure) at a hobby shop in Rhode Island.
