Description: THE CRUSADERS - Unsung Heroes (1973 VINYL LP) **NEW** Review from another site:Another lost classic from that musically fallow year, 1973 - at least compared to what Top 40 Radio was playing. When you compare the wonderful music on this album to what Chicago was doing at the same time, the differences really stand out! I don't mean to criticize Chicago and mean no offense to their fans and I actually like a lot of Chicago's music, but still Chicago's horn charts pale next to these guys! If you like smooth jazz, you probably like this which takes the smooth jazz sound (which I like) and mixes it up a little with some funk and "real jazz" mixed in. My main man, Joe Sample, was their keyboardist. I have most of his albums. If you are a Joe Sample fan, you will probably enjoy this album. Also, this may also appeal to Tower of Power fans as well. -- M.L. "NEW" old stock just out of storage! FACTORY SEALED, PRISTINE. Satisfaction Guaranteed!
