The book features illustrations and is bound in exquisite tooled leather with gilt accents. 288 pages, later custom decorative tooled genuine leather boards with gilt to spine and upper cover, rear board is green leather. Binding is solid and tight, gilt page edges, endpapers are clean and unmarked. Pages are clean, tight and bright in very good condition for the majority, the six pages of engraved illustration pages are more darkened with adjacent foxing likely due to the process. The copyright page has a tiny pen mark in top margin, p.288 has a small chip to top margin at hinge. Overall a very nice copy of this custom bound vintage book.
