Description: Let me start off saying this item does work , does it work like it was new out of the box of course not, but when you wind it up, and you move the wheels they do spin, it does not spin by itself , it needs a little help, most likely needs to be cleaned and oiled in my opinion. This is a fantastic collector's item that is made by SCHUCO . This metal and tin windup toy mouse with original key was made in Germany. This item was found on the east coast of the United States , the Maryland area to be exact, and this is exactly the way I found it, I did not try to clean it up, or or do anything to it whatsoever , I just took pictures. I'm not sure what year this was made, but I believe it was made between the 1930s - 1950s that's just a guess, but what a fantastic collector's item this is and a fantastic find. This item will clean up really really nicely if that's what you choose to do, or you can just leave it alone and add it to a really cool collection . This is a used item so there are scratches , dings, dents, dust, dirt, missing paint, and could be missing parts (tail), but that's all to be expected for as old as this item is. This mouse has cloth ears, and metal eyes which is really cool .this item is approximately 3 inches Long at the longest point, about 1 and 1/4 inches high at the highest point, and at the widest point it's about 1 and 1/2 inches wide . This is a super cool item very old in my opinion , and a great find.
