It is classically styled and has a removable clasp so the necklace can be worn two different ways. It is a very interesting and actually a rare style of necklace by Napier and was perfect for professional use in the office as well as a bit more dressy occasions. This necklace features lovely faux or simulated perfectly round pearls and a removable gold tone clasp. Without the clasp insert in place, this necklace measures approximately 17" from end to end. If the clasp is in place the necklace measures about 18 & 1/2". The gold tone is still bright and shiny. It is of medium weight. All of the clasps have the Napier hallmark. Conditional issues are very light surface scratching and light surface scratching on the clasp with a small amount of verdigris and/or abrasions on the inside of the removable clasp and other clasp. This necklace has been used as a go to necklace over the years and it is still in excellent condition. It is a classic style professional or career type necklace and has been made with quality and care to ensure it will last for many years.
