Here’s a very nice and hard to find, unsmoked new, old stock Kaywoodie Fine Line medium Billiard. It shows off the distinct wire cut patterns with diamond shapes and lines offering nice grip and looks. The stem is deep black and not oxidized with the original $7.95 sticker still on the bottom. The stinger is intact and polished and the pipe has no issues and is mint in condition. A really cool Kaywoodie that weighs under an ounce. It’ll make for a very comfortable clencher as well. A TYPICAL RESTORATION PROCESS: I do not begin with any pipes that have structural damage or major issues. I want these pipes to last a lifetime and be better on arrival than expected. As with all my pipes, this piece has first off, vetted and thoroughly inspected. The internals are cleaned very well and the chamber reamed and cleaned to minimize ghosting and ensure good condition. The stem almost always has an hour or more of meticulous work put in. It has been gently re-surfaced to remove any oxidation, marks or scratches and hand polished to an extremely smooth finish that’s a deep, shiny black. Obsidian Stem Oil with its UV block is applied a couple times during the process to slow down future oxidation. Any metal parts are cleaned and polished. The stummel has been carefully buffed up to White Diamond, a very smooth compound that helps remove old wax and residue and leaves the briar very smooth and shiny. The pipe recieved multiple coats of fresh carnauba wax over the course of a day. I apply thin coats with rests between and a buffing before the next coat. These stacked layers of Carnauba leave a long lasting and durable protective coat that looks and feels great. Finally, it’s hand buffed with a clean micro-fiber towel. Once I’ve shipped your package, I have NO control on delays. I almost always will ship the next business day. I put within 1-3 business days as sometimes on busier weeks, I’ll need an extra day to properly pack everything. I’ve never had an item arrive damaged. In most cases, I have a poly bag on top to make it rain resistant and a bit more secure. The exception is it the package is larger than standard. I don’t profit off of the shipping fee.
