Description: My great Aunt Lucy was an expert seamstress and made this beautiful dress for her daughter ( my Aunt Katherine ) , who passed away last year at 99 years old. We date this dress from the 1940's. Grey cotton material that reverses to light yellow. It's beautifully made with big side pockets with turn back tops. Matching belt. Diagonal top buttons. We notice one light mark on the front, please see last picture. We did NOT wash the dress or try to remove the mark. The dress is shown with a crinoline slip underneath it. It will probably fit a size small, but please check measurements. Katherine had a small waist ! We consider it to be in very good vintage pre worn condition, but it is vintage pre owned and is not new.
