It is said to aid sleep, keep you cool and used as a method to keep elaborate hairstyles in place. Picture depicts Royal Ladies and children adorned in traditional Kimono robes of rich colors, gracefully strolling in a beautiful garden and structural scenery which exudes an air of tranquility and refinement. Their intricate hairstyles and delicate features hint at their high social status within the court. The Ceramic itsellf is a Antique dirty Beige color and has a glossy glaze on it.Measures approximately 4" Tall x 8.80" length x 5.25" width Item in pre-owned vintage and in good overall condition. Year made is unknown, has very minor crazing due to age. Hand crafted by skilled Pottery workers in Antiqued traditional style with fine craftsmanship.
