Description: Vintage Francois Carre Art Deco Sunburst Chaise Lounge ~ A VERY VERY Rare Find! Circa 1930's I was very lucky to have found this. It was repainted at some point, however, it looks great! This piece is an amazing work of art! You have to appreciate the off set arms and the fan back when you see it in person. Just having this work of art in your yard is a statement piece in and of itself! If you've ever watched Grey Gardens you will see a set created by Francois Carre in the garden scene with Big Edie and Little Edie Beale's and Jackie Kennedy. Though rusted and tattered in the scene it still looks stunning. Condition: PLEASE examine all of my photos for condition. This is a solid piece. When you lay on it and lean back too hard on the back it does bend back, however, it bounces right back. One of the legs at the end is slightly bent. But it doesn't impact its' construction.
