Description: For sale, a beautiful vintage all hand painted tole tray. So Cottage Chic! Love these tole trays, no two are a like! These were given as mostly wedding gifts in the 1940s. Great American Folk Art! This is quite a Gorgeous large Chippendale shaped table size tole tray. It has it's original paper maker label on the back, "Art Craft Co. Philadelphia PA" most of the hand painted tole trays were made in Philadelphia PA. It is traditional black background color with lot's of gorgeous large cabbage roses with many other beautiful flowers. Big beautiful lavender color tulip, lush green leaves. Deep gold trim around the whole tray. It comes with a folding wrought iron stand. It is not original to the tole tray. I purchased it many years ago and just placed it on the stand and used it as a coffee table, corner table, night stand just about anywhere in your home. Or you can not use the stand and hang it like Art Work on your wall. I have done that with many of my antique tole trays. The tray is 29" long x 24" wide. Stands 22" tall on the stand. This tole tray is in great used condition for it's age and use, very minor paint scratches if any! Their is one small ding, no paint loss, please see photo on the black area of the tray. The photo of three of the tole trays is just a sample of ones that I will be listing on ebay. I also have many other tole trays in different colors, red, green, pale blue etc.... soon on ebay!
