Vintage Marantz Model 7 Stereo Vacuum Tube Preamp Preamplifier HIFI 7C

Description: We're selling a vintage early 1960's Marantz model 7 (7C) vacuum tube stereo preamplifier with original wooden case. We tested all channels except for the phono channel as we do not have a turntable available for testing. All other channels worked and sound fantastic. A few of the controls are slightly scratchy and will require contact cleaner. The wooden case is in good condition, but there are a few edges with missing veneer (see photos). Checking the internal photos, it appears a previous owner had the unit serviced, so please take a very close look at the parts that have updated. There is also some old foam on the side that has dried out and should be replaced. The tubes included with this unit are newer Sovtek (made in Russia). Overall the unit has some wear from use/storage like scratches, scuffs and dust. Sold AS IS, Please see high-res photos for more details.
