Description: You are bidding on: Vintage Tim Lazer 1991 Art Glass Vase - 11.5"T x 9"WThis vase is absolutely beautiful. The vase is about 11.5"T x 9"W (at the widest point). The vase has an oval shape, so it is 8.5"W at the shorter side of the oval. The vase weighs 10 pounds, so this is a heavy vase. Greens and Aquas and golds infused in this beautifully designed vase that is absolutely in perfect condition. Lazer 91 etched into the bottom of the vase. More about how this vase is made: Lazer uses different layers of glass to create this particular glass shape and applied precious metals and glass powders that melted or fused onto the surface of the glass to obtain it's iridescent, lustrous, and opalescent appearance. The colors of the glass range from greens to aquas along with gold from the applied gold leaf. The exterior of the vase appears to have been acid washed, giving it a matte finish. The thick walled vase has been encased in clear glass at the bottom giving it a sommerso or submerged effect.
