This stunning display of MCM design was created in 1959 by Lane & Co., famous for their great production volume and varied styles. The white, glossy ceramic Ballerina and Swan measures 16 1/2" in height, 11" in length and 5" in width. The finish on this artistic piece makes it a true standout! The lamp has a 70" brown cord and comes with an 8.8 LED bulb, equivalent to a 60 watt bulb but it doesn't get hot! The lamp is in MINT condition, and the cord and bulb are in working order. No chips, cracks or crazing on this piece, it is PRISTINE! This lovely, decorative lamp was originally designed to sit on top of 1950's style t.v.'s! But nowadays you can put it in any prominent place to add a touch of vintage charm to your living space. Lane & Co. produced their ceramic ware from the early 1950's to the late 1960's. They were known for their planters and t.v. lamps, although they also produced dinnerware, vases and wall decor, all which have become scarce 60 years later! Now they are a favorite of collectors, especially the Ballerina & Swan Lake Lamp!
