Description: This helmet is a nice example of a relic and very sought after due to the fact it was used in both wars and retains a good amount of paint. The helmet is A M18 reissued in WW2 (M35 liner and paint) and has evidence of blood staining and damage from shrapnel. This was dug somewhere from Kaliningrad (former Konigsberg) which was one of the last German defences on the Eastern front. Whoever wore this helmet got unlucky... This and the fact the helmet is very rare makes it definitely worth every penny as Transitional helmets are in itself rare, but the fact it was used and shows the true horrors of war only increases its value. This helmet will make a great addition to any display! Please email me for any questions. Thank you for viewing!
