Together, these three albums set a standard in Japanese jazz and recording quality. Yoshihiko Kannari's engineering at Tokyo's AOI Studios is renowned for its clarity and energy, qualities that earned Girl Talk the prestigious Swing Journal Critic Poll "Jazz Disc" Engineering award in 1976.
